Chance to Compete County Winners Confirmed

The Chance to Compete 2023 County Finals have now concluded, with four Kent Schools progressing through to the Regional Finals.
On Thursday 25th May at The Mote Cricket Club in Maidstone, 4 x U13 Girls’ teams and 2 x U15 Girls’ teams gathered to compete for progression through to the Chance to Compete Regional Finals. A softball cricket competition, it is exclusively for state schools, giving girls with limited exposure to cricket, the chance to play.
In beautiful weather on the main pitch next to the clubhouse, some competitive and enjoyable cricket was played, resulting in two school teams from each age group gaining a qualification place.

- U15 Girls County Qualifiers – Hayes School & Hundred of Hoo School
These teams now progress to the Chance to Compete Regional Finals, hosted at The County Ground, Beckenham on Thursday 13th July. We wish them all the best as they compete for a place in the National Finals.
