Kent Spitfires & South East Stars to host another T20 double-header in 2024
Kent Cricket is delighted to confirm that a Spitfires/Stars double-header will take place again in the 2024 season following a successful & well-attended T20 double-header at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in 2023.
On 7 June 2023, South East Stars made their second T20 appearance in their history in Canterbury with a thrilling narrow victorious by six runs against the Central Sparks The Spitfire Ground, skipper Bryony Smith taking the crucial wicket to dismiss 2024’s returning opponents for 170 with three balls to spare.
Earlier, Kent’s Phoebe Franklin had smashed 52 runs from only 27 deliveries to propel the stars to 176/6 after 20 overs.

In 2024, the Stars will face the Sparks once again, but this time on a Sunday, 9 June, with two T20 matches taking place on the same Summer weekend day at the Home of Kent Cricket.
South East Stars vs. Central Sparks will take place at 11:00, with Kent Spitfires vs. Middlesex following the Charlotte Edwards Cup T20 tie from 15:30. One ticket will get entry to both matches, and Sunday 9 June’s action only counting as one day of the Six Pack Ticket Bundle.
Start times of all Vitality Blast matches for the Kent Spitfires in 2024 will be confirmed soon.
South East Stars are one of eight regional teams across the country, in partnership with Kent Cricket and Surrey County Cricket Club. As well as this T20 double-header at The Spitfire Ground, the Stars will play nine matches at The County Ground, Beckenham in 2024.
