Women’s World Cup trophy at Beckenham

This Women’s World Cup trophy will be appearing at the County Ground, Beckenham as part of a Female Cricket Coaches Conference organised by the ECB.

This is one of a series of conferences to support female coaches and volunteers to build networks and help inspire women and girls to pick up a bat and a ball in 2018.

Aimed at women interested in teaching or coaching in schools, clubs and communities, the conference will be delivered by leading female coaches and former England players with support from the ECB Coach Development team and regional staff.

Kent Cricket will also be running a drop in session for clubs regarding the development of female cricket at 7pm on Sunday 15 April at The County Ground, Beckenham.

Representatives from all cricket clubs in Kent are invited (regardless of their female cricket development stage) plus any other individual involved with the female game in the County.

The aim of the evening is to….
• raise awareness of the club benefits to engaging with female cricketers
• discuss the common barriers involved with female cricket development
• raise awareness of the support available to clubs
